We enjoyed two days with Barbara Randle and her friend Joan Brown. Barbara presented a trunk show on Friday, then led us through making her Boca Loca bag on Saturday. Many of the Saturday group were crazy quilting for the first time, and found it absolutely amazing that different people can take the same fabrics, the same yarns, and the same pattern, yet produce results so different! It's a great technique that really allows and encourages creativity. Barbara likewise had a good time using an Ellisimo for the first time during her demo on Friday. Her friend, Joan Brown, who accompanied Barbara from Birmingham, wanted to take the Ellisimo home with her. Sadly, she didn't.
